Pogoplug V4 boot from ext2

Postby bluechalk2 » Tue Dec 11, 2012 1:50 am

I'm about to setup a Pogoplug V4. I'm planning to boot off a USB stick, and I'd like to have an ext2 filesystem there. Will this work if I follow the instructions, or do I need to change the ppv4-install.sh script?

Yes, all you should really need to change is the rootfstype=ext3 to rootfstype=ext2, also make sure that you're leaving off the -j when you format the drive in the install instructions.
