Pogo v4 Bricked

Postby SaturnsVoid » Tue Dec 25, 2012 3:09 pm

I just bought a Pogoplug V4 basic (The blue one) and i wanted to make it into a small HTTP server, I followed the instructions but sadly my Pogo seems to of been bricked... It just sits there blinking, I have tried the reset method but it will not work... I can't connect to the terminal anymore so it looks like i am out of luck

Anyone else have this issue with the blue model?

I have a Pogo V4 (blue lights, it's marketed as the PogoPlug Mobile) and I've had zero issues with it. If you have blinking lights, it's not bricked. The first thing I'd try is swapping out the USB drive, some just don't work.

So i might be able to reset the pogo with a different USB? I was using a PNY 4GB (2.0) maybe i will dig out my other USB's... Do you think the USB was the issue with the hack? I really hope i can fix it.

I'm not 100% sure, but it's worth a try if you have another USB drive handy. Anything more complex than that will probably require a serial adapter for it.
