LogMeIn Hamachi

Postby cmthomps » Tue Jan 24, 2012 2:42 pm

Trying to install LogMeIn Hamachi (https://secure.logmein.com/labs/logmein ... -armel.tgz)

When I run install.sh, I get a message that says "LogMeIn Hamachi needs lsb package". I've been searching for a version of the LSB to install, but I can't find one. Has anyone had success installing LogMeIn Hamachi or a version of the Linux Standard Base?

Thanks,
Craig

Offending install.sh line:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
if [ ! -x /usr/lib/lsb/install_initd ] ; then
echo LogMeIn Hamachi needs lsb package;
')

Check for `lsb-release`

I am having the same issue. Downloaded the PKGBUILD from this website:

http://christopherve7alb.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/better-guide-to-hamachi-on-pogo-plug.html

made the package and then tried to install. Got the message:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'LogMeIn Hamachi needs lsb package')

ran pacman -Sy lsb-release but nothing changed. I looked in the directory /usr/lib/ and there was no lsb directory. Do I need to change the lsb directory location in the install.sh line?

I will have to re-visit my work on this issue, as I did get it up and running with a GoFlex Net and a Pogoplug Pro.

It wasn't that hard at the time.
