Unable to find your git executable - either delete your .git

Postby obeyaron » Fri Mar 01, 2013 10:42 pm

I've made it this far, arch'ed my pogoplug, put on samba and sabnzb. both are running fine. Now its on to sickbeard which is also running ok but its out of date and I'm getting hung up around the git stuff.

Git is installed. I've ran git --version and it returns with git version 1.8.1.4

I have edited the file /opt/sickbeard/config.ini to inlcude $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'git_path = /opt/bin/git')
I have restarted sickbeard after, but I am still getting this error message.

Sickbeard's config.ini has remained default, I've only changed the git path as listed above, an web_host was changed to reflect my static ip.

Can anyone point me in the right direction... :)

type git returns $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'git is hashed (/usr/bin/git)')

I've changed the original path to $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/usr/bin/git') in the ini file restarted sickbeard.

Now I get $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'There is a newer version available (you're 11 commits behind)— Update Now')
Once I click Update Now it refreshes and gives me the error $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'Update Failed
Update wasn't successful, not restarting. Check your log for more information.')
