Which kernel should I be running and why? Should we be running the latest unless we have a reason not to or the other way around?

Will 3.8.x be the default at some point? Just curious. Thanks

Default U-Boot for devices like GoFlex doesn't support kernels >=3.2, also many people installed archlinux arm on devices like Pogoplug E02 and Dockstar when newer U-Boot wasn't available (p l ugapps times :) ) so not to make their devices unbootable kernel 3.1 is the default. If they like they can read the forum and upgrade whatever they need to be able to have newer kernel.
