Noob Question - If I remove USB Stick with Arch Linux...

Postby ScottishDave » Fri Apr 05, 2013 2:35 pm

...will the pogoplug boot back onto the original pogoplug software ?

Sorry if this has been answered before but I cant find the answer. I want to give ALARM a try but I want to know I would be going down a path I cant go back on.

Thanks

This is a question that as a noob I wondered myself and wasn't able to find a definitive answer on. I went ahead anyway and am glad to report that I have found the answer to be yes.

Almost.
While installing the uboot, the Pogoplugsoftware will be deactivated (only one # in a file).
You had to take the # away and then - with the next boot - the pogoplugsoftware should run.
