Any way to build DNS server in Pogoplug for webaccess?

Postby yazyazoo » Wed May 29, 2013 4:30 pm

I have had sabnzbd, sickbeard working on the Pogoplug. I set DNS port forward in my router so I can access Sabnzbd and Sickbeard webpage from any browser.

I am setting one up for a friend and their router doesn't have any free DNS services. I was wondering if there is a way to just set a DNS server on the Pogoplug and be able to access their Pogoplug remotely. I will be adding files to Sabnzbd remotely to their pogoplug.

Anyone know if their router will block the Pogoplug?

NAT port forward?

Use a free dynamic DNS that can run the client script from the pogoplug.
