I have a few wierd problems can someone help?

Postby kingfish600 » Tue Aug 20, 2013 12:13 am

I installed samba and plex without much difficulty except I have to mount the hard drive each time I reboot and mount the swap partion echo "LABEL=USB /media/usb ext3 rw,noatime 0 0" >> /etc/fstab isn't working...have any ideas?

Also after installing samba and plex I reinstalled the my.pogoplug.com service. While running samba and plex my wireless router was working fine but when I installed the pogoplug software the wireless on my home router(cisco e2000 running stock) stopped allowing devices to connect wifi but the Ethernet connected devices continued to work. I reset my router and pogoplug and even changed my wireless to a different encryption (was wpa personal but is now wpa2 personal) and all my wireless devices could see my network but none could connect until I disconnected the pogoplug from the network.

Does anyone have any ideas?

If not how would I remove the my.pogoplug.com service again I have 3 other pogoplugs running so it's no great loss I was just wanting to consolidate a few of them into one place.

Not sure what's going on with your network. Is the problem reproducible? Did a reboot solve the issue?

Regarding fstab not working...that's very odd. Can you post the exact content the fstab file? Typically it either works or doesn't. And when it doesn't, your pogoplug wouldn't boot. Never heard of fstab entries being ignored though.
