This is news to me. Doesn't seem like anyone got it working yet?

Anyone else familiar with this or gotten it to work?

Would be pretty slick if we got it working. The Mobile @ <$20, would make cheap AP/router.

It does NOT have built-in wireless.

I doubt the device comes with wifi and nobody knew about it. It could be that the driver was not built as a module and it was statically compiled into the kernel so it just gets loaded while it really is not needed. Notice that it was the debian kernel, the alarm kernel didn't show the module untill it was modprobed. Try loading the driver on any machine, it will likely give you the same message even without the hardware that uses it.
