[Solved] won't DHCP with ALArm drive, only to default linux

Postby permitivity » Sun Feb 02, 2014 5:40 am

Hi,
I have two Pogoplug E02's that are exhibiting the same behavior. I have a flash drive with the latest Arch Linux Arm. I know the flash drive rootfs works because it boots on one of my other Pogoplug E02's.

But on two of my Pogoplug E02's, this drive either doesn't boot or doesn't DHCP right. I'm not sure which. These two E02's can boot to the default linux if no flash drive is plugged in. But once the rootfs flash drive is plugged in, it won't boot.

I've also tried making a fresh Arch Linux Arm flash drive on a different flash drive. Same issue.

I'm not sure how to resolve the issue since I can't ssh into it.

Weird. I just made another fresh Arch install again. Now it boots into Arch. My older rootfs that I saved the image of still wont' boot however.

Maybe it was some write error on the flash drive the first time? Don't know.
