webpage based remote access

Postby permitivity » Fri Feb 28, 2014 7:05 am

Hello,
So far, I've only been using the Pogoplug w/ USB drives on local network using samba. Is there a program that runs a webpage and presents the contents of the drive as downloadable links? And also have some kind of password/username access control? I'd like relatives to get large files from me, but don't want them to have to install ftp clients and stuff.

- Original Pogoplug service: link in my signature
- Run a webserver (apache, lighttpd, nginx) with file indexing enabled. You could also use something like h5ai for pretty pages.

- webmin: in repost

Also your browser can be your ftp client.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('moonman', '-') Original Pogoplug service
