InfluxDB - possible to install?

Postby permitivity » Mon Jun 23, 2014 6:33 pm

Hello,
I'm interested in installing a database called InfluxDB on a Pogoplug. I'm still a Linux newbie, so please excuse the ignorance.

The install file is available for Ubuntu and Debian as a ".deb". But it also exists in "aur.archlinux.org" as a "package." I'm not sure what that means, if that helps me at all? Is it possible to install this? If so, how? I think I might need to tell my ArchLinuxArm installation on my Pogoplug where to find this.

Thanks for any input.

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/influxdb/

It is marked out of date, and I have no idea how it would perform, if it compiles.
