Pogoplug v4 soft reboots

Postby Holzhaus » Mon Jan 26, 2015 12:32 pm

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Installation instructions', 'U')-Boot has been noted to occasionally not properly re-initialize USB and SATA drives on soft reboots. This is a rare occurrence, but if you are stuck with just a flashing green light after following the instructions above and rebooting, then just power-cycle the device. This won't harm the filesystem, and will be sure to get the device(s) plugged in on top re-initialized properly.

Any updates on this? Working soft reboots would be cool.

Thanks in advance,
Jan

I have this issue using a SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive and encounter this issue. I don't want to use another drive, because it allows me close the case.

Just bought a remote controller power outlet. ;-)

Hmm...the Cruzer Fit works fairly consistently for me. What uBoot are you running?

Try the uBoot from here to see if it makes a difference - http://blog.qnology.com/2014/07/hacking ... obile.html

Or switch to SD Card booting.
