My Goflex Net is dead?

Postby bx6768 » Wed Sep 07, 2011 4:43 am

Hi guys, I need your help. I have a Goflex Net, and installed linux on SATA HD by following this instruction: http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5 ... goflex-net

Everything is working very well until one day after the power outrage. When I connect the power, the green led blink for 10-20 sec, then change to solid as normal, however I can not see this linux from network. I used set the ip as 192.168.1.10, now can not ping it, and no logging in router status page.

So my Goflex is dead or still can be fixed?

Thanks

I'm also a newbie here, but I think maybe u should check the startup message. Connected the goflex net and your computer with same router, set 10.10.10.4 as your IP address, open a terminal in OSX or Linux, and type in "nc -luk 10.10.10.4 6666" and enter, reboot your goflex net and you should see kernel message in your terminal. Hope that would help u to know what happened. You can find more details in advance part of "http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5/seagate-goflex-net".
