The AUR is hit or miss as everything is community maintained, designed for x86, and orphaned more often than updated. I'd suggest sticking to packages that are available in our repos, which can be searched with pacman.

It's true there isn't a ton of information on various things for this distribution, but nearly everything in the Arch wiki applies here. We use the same sources, keep the same versions, and adjusting for x86 differences you'll be able to follow guides on their wiki or use suggestions for programs made by people in their forums. Our forums here also have tons of answers for common issues or what software people have installed in different scenarios. And like WarheadsSE said, it is an irk to see people re-post the same questions over and over without searching the forum, or to ask questions that when typed into Google verbatim give the exact answer.
