Pogoplug NTFS Samba batch copy issue -- empty files

Same NTFS problem with me. The size of the drive is properly displayed, but large files (above 2 GB) cannot be copied.
I am using an NTFS drive attached.

I can for sure say that the same drive works with no issues attached to a DD-WRD based router as storage if that might help.

I will probably try to convert it to ext, but proper support for NTFS would be great. So any new ideas ?

I have the exact same problem on my GoFlex Home too. Hoping a solution comes up since I'd like to be able to Samba share across Windows machines.

Exact same problem here too. If I copy one file, no problem, but copying multiple files will often lead to prompts to replace an empty file that already exists.

Got Samba4 working and was trying to copy over some movies to test out. One was 17GB another 6GB and another at 4GB. I moved them over to the Pogodrive one by one. The last two I copied over in a few minutes asked if I wanted to copy the file. So it seems as if I am having the same issue.

So I guess Samba4 doesn't help.

Same problem here, exactly as described. Happens on both 64GB Lexar flash drive and 250GB HDD. Both formatted to NTFS. It's not the worst problem in the world, as if I overwrite all everything is fine, but it does make me a little concerned.

I just updated to the lastest everything today, including a new release of ntfs-3g. Still got the same problem.

Could you guys try this kernel and report back. I've changed the default I/O scheduler to the CFQ, don't know if it will make any difference though. Make sure your device can run kernels > 3.2. Do not install if you don't know.
