Yes, fun_plug is present and will be executed. Getting SSH and telnet access is relatively easy.

However, in order to install Arch, some boot loader variables need to be set. Unfortunately, D-Link did not include the necessary tools to modify the u-boot environment.

If you know of another way to modify the boot loader, please let me know!
