So the system doesn't want to boot up AFTER I edit fstab to auto-mount the drives, I did not use the command 'udev-automount' setting up the system. I can mount the drives when I am in the system, but I cannot boot up afterward even if I removed any external hardrives. Booting into the Pogoplug OS and then plugging the USB drive in and rebooting doesn't boot either. I should note also, that even after installing SAMBA and adding it to the daemons for auto-start, the drive was not mounted to the system. In the past, the drive which was a NTFS file system, auto-mounted to the directory /media and sub-directory /drivename. This isn't happening with the EXT3 file system external hard drives.
Frustrating that I cant get this working again..
