Had this same error "Transport endpoint is not connected" with one of two drives using udev-automount...

Unfortunately, I just switched to the devmon as referred to a couple of posts ago... and while it fixed the drive that gave Transport Endpoint error, now the first drive that was working with udev-automount doesn't show up!!!

Isn't there ANY way to just get my two USB hard drives to both show up at the same time? I'm tearing my hair out here.

Check dmesg. If it isn't working, add drives to fstab.

Example
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'UUID="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx..." /media/<yourmountpoint> ntfs-3g noauto,x-systemd.automount,defaults 0 0 ')
Pogoplug V4 | GoFlex Home | Raspberry Pi 4 4GB | CuBox-i4 Pro | ClearFog | BeagleBone Black | Odroid U2 | Odroid C1 | Odroid XU4

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('moonman', 'C')heck dmesg. If it isn't working, add drives to fstab.

Example
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'UUID="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx..." /media/<yourmountpoint> ntfs-3g noauto,x-systemd.automount,defaults 0 0 ')

But, whouldn't using UUID mean that it is not actually automounting anything, only connecting previously known drives?

Thus, it's not actually automount in any sense of the word. What I actually want is to be able to plug ANY device into the ports and have it mount, not just a couple of predefined ones...

EDIT:
And.... the same drive that wouldn't mount with devmon is giving problems with fstab mounting. As in, it shows up kinda, but the directory listing shows a bunch of question marks on the mount directory, and it isn't accessbile.

EDIT 2:
Apparently the drive that's giving problems now got corrupted ... it was fine when I hooked it up to the pogoplug at the start of this process. I just connected it to my Windows computer which threw up errors and scanned the drive, repairing it.

Did you uninstall udev-automount. Devmon works fine here with any drives
