Pogoplug V4 SPI/i2c success?

Postby rubicondrawn » Sat Aug 04, 2018 8:26 pm

Has anyone had any success using the SPI or i2c pins on a pogoplug mobile? I use mine primarily as a MPD server and I'd love to hook up a 20x4 lcd to display the current artist, song, album etc.

I've done some searching through Google, the forums here, and over at doozan. All I can really come up with is the stuff on OpenWRT's wiki. Searching through the file system turns up /sys/bus/spi/devices/spi0.0 and /sys/class/spi_master/spi0 so I'm not sure if those are links to the actual pins on the board or what.

I guess I'm just asking if anyone's remotely had any success utilizing these pins for anything, and if I had to recompile a kernel to get the correct modules loaded to talk to the pins? Any help would be seriously appreciated.
