linux-kirkwood-dt-5.1.3-1 booting NFS, swapfile not seen

My dockstars are booting via NFS and it works great since years.
They have a specific entry in their fstab file: /swapfile none swap defaults 0 0
The /swapfile was made with dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=4M count=96 conv=sync,noerror and then mkswap -c -L swapfile /swapfile and then chmod 0600 /swapfile

From kernel linux-kirkwood-dt-5.0.11-1 to linux-kirkwood-dt-5.1.3-1, my dockstars stopped working properly.
The swapfile can't be seen anymore by the kernel despite the fstab entry.

So I had to return to kernel kirkwood-dt-5.0.11-1.
Any idea why ?

For information, my booting via nfs Dockstar still does not see the swapfile with latest linux-kirkwood-dt v5.1.8-1

fstab specifies /swapfile as as swap space: /swapfile none swap defaults 0 0

/etc/mkinitcpio.conf has: HOOKS=(base udev autodetect modconf block filesystems keyboard)

Only when the /swapfile is erased, I have accesss via ssh to the Dockstar
And then only, I can recreate the swapfile, format it and swap it on with swapon.

But if I reboot with this configuration with the new kernel, I don't have access anymore to the Dockstar.

It would be helpful to see a boot log (serial or netconsole). It obviously breaks somewhere during boot, but the question is where?
