Reflash my pogoplug?

Postby newhouse » Thu Oct 06, 2011 5:32 am

Hi guys,

I have the Pogoplug pink E02. For whatever reason, I can't SSH into it (the password isn't the default or any of the passwords I normally use, and I have no idea how it could have changed, but regardless...) I have heard that building a serial cable and reflashing the pogoplug may solve this issue. Does anyone have detailed instructions on how to build and use said cable with some kind of flashing software, I presume?

Thanks for any help in this matter.

Assuming this is a E02, then it is as simple as re-extracting the rootfs, or simply changing the value of the password on the drive from another linux instance

It is in fact E02. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do so? I'm still a bit of a n00b when it comes to linux and all that. Thanks!
