That's likely the case. Please describe in more detail how you are connecting the 20-pin wiggler to the 10 pin JTAG connector. Which pin number on the wiggler goes to which pin number on the Dockstar JTAG connector?

Hi,

Wiggler <-> Dockstar

3 TRST - 2
5 TDI - 3
7 TMS - 4
9 TCK - 5
13 TDO - 6
15 SRST - 7
20 GND - 10

then power from the original psu and nothing else

thanks

I'm not familiar with this particular JTAG programmer, but are you sure you don't need Vcc to be hooked up to the target?

Hi,

I really have no idea.

all the howtos dont conect vcc from jtag to dockstar, so i didnt either.

the jtag has 5v pin1 vcc. Its written here min 2.7V and max 5V, recommended operation conditions.
Does that mean that i can connect it dockstar?

on this pic actualy it is connected but only 3,3V

Look up some of the posts earlier in this thread by klingon. I believe the problem will go away if you disconnect SRST. Give it a try and report back.

Hi,
i bought a pci lpt card, but it still doesnt work.
I tried it with srst connected without it, with vcc and with out.
How do i see if the jtag is working or where to search for errors?

is this port setting correct?

You have it the wrong way round. Edit /interface/parport.cfg and change 0x378 to whichever port you are using. I'm assuming there are 2 ports based on the 2 addresses. You might also need to run install_giveio.bat that can be found in an archive in the /drivers directory. I'll add a note to my Dockstar JTAG Wiki on changing ports since it assumes a default of 0x378.
