Pogoplug Mobile and Archlinux

Postby regder » Fri Mar 02, 2012 12:24 am

Has anyone gotten this to work? I see the V4 is supported, but can't find anything specific to the Mobile

Appreciate any help

I guess it isn't supported then, followed the instructions for V4 and now I'm stuck with the blinking green light of death. Back to the store it goes.

You give up too easily.

This has worked for several people.

Trust me, I would love to get this to work, doesn't look like it's going to happen though.

Too bad, was able to pick it up for $30 on sale

It ought to work off the USB 2.0 ports. Odd. Try redoing your rootfs (remember, ext3**).

Ext3 is actually the way to go, not ext2. That's what I set up for in U-Boot.

Just try a different install drive, and you can always revert. See the Advanced tab for its page on the main site.

Tried again, no go, can't even revert back to the original pogo software. Perhaps it's because there's only one usb port on the device?

No. All you need is a normal FAT32-formatted usb drive, and create a folder named revert on it. Plug it in and then plug in the power, the device will go back to stock.

Doesn't seem to be working for me then. I'm using a brand new flash drive that looks like this, https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HLTK ... 2520PM.jpg

If you installed following the V4 instructions on our site, there isn't any reason for it not to work.
