Pogoplug v2 (Pink)

I've been told that transfering files via the Pogoplug LAN to the USB that the throughput speeds is less than 10MBs. :(

can anybody confirm if this is true. ?

When dealing with samba and ntfs-3g to write to an NTFS drive, 10MB/s is about the standard that people see. Use a native filesystem like ext3 or ext4, should be able to hit up to 30MB/s.. at that point more limited by samba and USB.
