Samba on pink pogoplug

Postby sunbound » Sun Apr 29, 2012 10:07 pm

I'm a complete noob when it comes to Samba,

I've followed the tutorial to install it, and everything seems fine.

I think i have to tell it what other drives i have attached to it, so it can share them out because when i type in the IP address for the pogoplug, the only thing i see is what looks like a folder that says "ArchLinux"... when i double click on it, i get an error.

I'd like to get this working so i can share my media collection to other boxes besides just windows machines.

Also, I just want to confirm that i dont have to do anything special to the drives, do i? I have 2 2Tb drives i will be connecting to this thing; full of stuff i cannot lose.

Thanks

ArchLinux share is what is used in the guide as an example. Point it to your drive or to /media folder toshare all the drives
