I managed now to get my hard drive working. I think there was a difference between /usr/local/cloudengines/hbplug.conf and /usr/local/cloudengines/bin/hbplug.conf. However, the harddrive is recognized now. If i want to add another harddrive, I will have to edit the hbplug.conf file in /usr/local/cloudengines again I guess. WIll it work if i add it with the line showing vfsdir0=plugdata,/media/FILES?
I solved the problem.
1. Stop the pogoplug.service
systemctl stop pogoplug
2. Go to /usr/local/cloudengines/hbplug.conf, edit the line which starts with "vfsdir"
I changed it to:
vfsdir0=WD_Elements_500,/media/WD_Elements_500, now it shows the name in mypogoplug.com as WD_Elements_500.
WD_Elements_500 is the name of my first drive which you can define right after the equal sign
If you want to attach a second drive, just add another line looking like this:
vfsdir1=name of your harddrive,/media/name of your harddrive
3. Start the pogoplug service back again
systemctl start pogoplug
That's it.
I have now 2 harddrives connected, working great. Both drives are shown in mypogoplug.com, and both are recognized on my notebook with the pogoplug-software, or from my iPhone.
Guys, thanks a lot for all your help, this guide is really great. I guess these are just stupid beginner mistakes I did. Hpe I did not cause to much work for you. Thansk again
