Why do you think it's bricked? What did you try? If it doesn't boot without any USB rootfs than I would suggest serial. If serial doesn't work than you'll need jtag.

Substitute pogoplug for dosckstar. You can try serial, but I have a feeling that U-Boot is screwed up and serial won't work. Sorry to be the one to bring you the bad news.

Nah, no bearer of bad news.. I knew I was risking it since the damage thing was acting up for a few days.. Does that buspirate come with cables to connect to the board?

Depends where you buy it. If from official website -then no. There are clones of buspirate on ebay that do come with cables for the same price.
