HTTPD disappears...

Postby arcidae2000 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 5:34 pm

...from my pogoplug ??!?!!

Hey,

some weeks ago I found that my HTTPD server (on plug) was down. No time to work on, so do this only now...

I log on the plug via WINSCP and it seems that the HTTPD server disappeared ! I'm not specialist on linux, then difficult to found how is it possible, but seems tha the USB key is unmounted. I can't find it on the plug, nor any directory concerning my HTTP or FTP servers !

strange isn't it ? an idea ?
Thx.

Thank you for your answer.

I've only one USB disk on my plug. But this disk (an usb key actually) cannot be found on WINSCP. I don't remember exactely how it work's, cause I'm not pro in linux and just follows a tuto (the from the site, for pink pogo). Then I've installed httpd and proftpd server.

What I don't understand is why HTTPD directory is no longer on my pogo (can't found it anywhere !) ?

I've tried to reboot with or without the usb key... nothing works !

what happened ?

Did you follow this guide: archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5/pogoplug-v2-pinkgray under installation tab. Or you did something else?

I think I've followed this guide... but not sure as long time ago. I've found this one on my HDD archive directory, so imagine that I've used this.

Anyway, all was working fine for some months. So what could happened ? I've imagined that using winscp I can see my USB key (SDA1 or smthing like that, isn't ?). I also remember that using WINSCP or PUTTY I've access to HTTP and FTP directories (evident, cause I've configure the conf files !). Where are these ones now ?

You may have a method to found them ?

what's the output of these commands:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'uname -a')

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'cat /proc/1/comm')

then remove the usb flash drive, connect it to any linuxbox and run $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'e2fsck /dev/sdX#') where X is the drive letter and # is the partition e.g. e2fsck /dev/sdc1

uname -a

Linux Pogoplug 2.6.22.18 #81 Tue Oct 19 16:05:00 PDT 2012 armv5tej1 unknown

cat /proc/1/comm
can't open 'cat /proc/1/comm' no such command or directory

then remove the usb flash drive, connect it to any linuxbox and run
e2fsck /dev/sdX#

As I've no Linux drive, I've tried on pogo (fsck as I've not e2fsck command). but gives nothing. I've tried sda1 as remember that USB was mounted on SDA1. Also tried on 2 but nothing. My USB key seems undected.

Either you are not running ArchLinuxArm or you've got a different device ?
