[Solved] knockd client?

Postby woody » Tue Dec 11, 2012 2:56 pm

I see that there is a knockd server listed for Arch linux, but not for Arch linux arm. Has anybody managed to install a knockd server on an Arm 5 device? If so, can you tell me how I can do it?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'h')ttps://aur.archlinux.org/packages/knockd/

Pkgbuild for that package says: "arch=('i686' 'x86_64')". Will that run on a Pogoplug?

build it with -A and try, a lot has no issues. Remember that most people that use/develop upstream don't bother with ARM at the moment, and truthfully, it is technically a separate entity.

Thanks! I thought that something like that might work, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time debugging it if it wasn't likely to work anyway. I'll give it a try.

OK, I was able to build it after I modified the pkgbuild file to allow it to install on an arm machine. After that, it installed with no problems. Thanks for your help!

Added it to our AUR repo. Also woody, you don't have to modify PKGBUILD to add arm, armv6h, armv7h....All you have to do is $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'makepkg -A')
Arch Linux ARM exists and continues to grow through community support, please donate today!
