Pogoplug V2 bricked? Green light flashing, nothing else

Hey guys, I have a new Pogo-E02, installed ALARM on a 2GB stick and everything went fine, updated, rebooted, all ok. Played around a bit with it, installed webmin, pyload etc. After another reboot, the light flashes green forever, till I pull out the plug. I have no clue, what happened wrong, nor if i'm able to get this thing alive again. I tried 5 times to rewrite the filesystem to a stick, this changes nothing. I cannot boot into the original OS and not into ALARM., my router gives it no IP. I have already ordered a Nokia cable to try that serial connection thing. But: should I stay optimistic to get this thing to work again?

So if you have no storage devices plugged in it still doesn't boot? Wait until your adapter comes in. If lights are flashing there's hope.

Hey,
thanks alot for giving me some hope. No, it does not boot, with devices plugged in or not. Can you give me a hint, what could've run wrong? I did not touch uboot or anything, edited no scripts, just installed some packages. I did not pull the power plug, I just have no clue what exactly caused this.

Hey guys,
just to let you know, I managed to get it working again by buying a new USB stick, copied rootfs and now it runs fine again. Nevertheless, can anyone please tell me, why I cannot boot into PogoOS, when obviously the USB device was the problem here?

I'm suffering the same problem. I rebooted my goflex net and it failed to reappear on the network. I have ALARM is installed to a usb stick via the method on the site.

The green light blinks but the device isnt reachable using hostname or ip via ssh. i've scanned my network using nmap, looking on my 192.168.x.x subnet but no device.

I've attempted to connect using netconsole but only have a blank screen. I'm not entirely sure how to use nc though, so I may be doing it wrong.

Any advice what to try?

Hey, i would try a different USB stick, copy the rootfs via a linux pc or vm and try to boot from that. That's the way i managed it, hope, it works for you too!
