Hi there!
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I've been searching the internet for hours to no avail. I have managed to boot my Pogoplug-B01 classic entirely from a SATA drive using Arch Linux ARM. Unfortunately, it does not show up in the network. I believe it boots fine because I added a small script at the end of the boot sequence that invokes mkdir and that directory is created just fine.
I don't have access to a serial connection so I have to rely on log files to tell me what's going on while booting the plug. To do this, I just attach the SATA drive to another PC and look at the contents of the disk. However, I couldn't find any helpful logfiles (all the logs in /var/log/ are empty).
So before I can troubleshoot my eth0 problem, I have to figure out a way to look at the bootloader output... Can anybody point me in the right direction?
I have already found that Arch Linux doesn't seem to log its boot sequence.. Is there any way to force it to do so anyway so I can read the output on another PC?
Thanks a lot!
Nik
