Anyway to control the LED on Pogoplug (pink)?

Another newbie question. Is there documentation somewhere that talks about how to control the LED? On my Pogoplug (pink) with modified UBOOT. The LED is bright if I don't plug in any bootable USB storage. If I put a Debian USB stick, the LED less bright (50%?) when it is running. Thanks.
