Motion FPS issue at 1280x720

Postby makuab » Wed May 08, 2013 4:27 am

I get like 2-4 fps in the motion web stream. First, is there any way to accurately measure the fps of the stream? I have all of the fps params maxed out in the config and It isn't writing any images to the disk because I disabled it. The cpu usage is only around 25% but it's still very laggy. I've tried both VLC and firefox and they're both laggy. I've also tried reducing the quality param and it doesn't affect it. The only thing that affect it is setting it to 640x480, which I don't want to do. Does anybody have any ideas or solutions?

Pogoplug v2 Logitech c310

EDIT: I think it might be because it's using YUYV which has a max framerate of around 5 at 1280x720. I tried setting it to mjpeg but it doesn't work, it gives a file corruption error and the stream is gray.

It just keeps giving this error over and over, but the stream doesn't work.$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('grayman4hire', 'I') don't think the pogoplug has enough juice, but that's just a guess

The usage isn't very high though.
