I've found a few old threads on this but nothing within the past year. Running a Sony BSD-S590 and a 3TB Goflex Home as the media server. Searching around on forums specific to the Sony player indicate that in certain cases a media server will change how the receiver interprets the file type and be unable to play it. Namely I'm seeing this with my files which should be able to be seen by the system as .m2ts but are being shown as mpegs and failing to load. I've found a few articles on patches to apply to minidlna but non are specific to the arch environment or the current builds of mindlna. Any advise on where to go from here? Other than changing out my hardware, as that is a consideration at this point.
