SFTP server on PogoPlug E02

Postby deymious » Wed Jan 15, 2014 6:46 pm

Hey all,

So I'm setting up my SFTP server on my pogoplug and just need a little help. I have two usb's currently attached to my pogo, one has the archlinux install (and this is the one I can access when I SFTP into the pogoplug) and the other just has my documents (and this one I cannot access when I'm using the SFTP server - it doesn't even come out). How do I tell the pogoplug to show me and allow me to access this drive as well?

**Update - I keep trying to figure out how to access the other usb device but it's not working. any advice is highly appreciated.

Additionally, I'm having trouble accessing the SFTP from outside of my LAN connection. Please let me know what I need to check for in order to make it work. I replaced the ip address from my local subnet address to my overall external ip address and I made sure that the SFTP port is forwarded on my router. Is there anything else I need to check?

Thanks for all the help!

Mount the drive.

The "SFTP" port is 22, the same as SSH.

kk thanks I did mount it. what can i do to make sure that I can connect from outside my LAN? If I forward the ports, is that all I need to do?
