cmedia USB audio adapter keeps crashing.

Hello,
I've been using the cmedia based Syba USB audio adapter on a couple of Pogoplugs. They work great.

I decided to do a fresh install of the latest Arch Linux Arm. When I plug the Syba cmedia adapter into a V4 pogoplug, at first things are fine. lsusb lists the adapter.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')[root@alarm ~]# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0781:5571 SanDisk Corp. Cruzer Fit
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0d8c:0008 C-Media Electronics, Inc.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Then when I try to play something, the adapter disappears, and the LED light on the adapter goes off.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')[root@alarm ~]# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0781:5571 SanDisk Corp. Cruzer Fit
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I do a dmesg and I see this:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '

I'm not sure how to solve this issue. The only thing on the USB bus is the rootfs flash drive and this cmedia audio adapter.
