Pogoplug V4- please help get my wifi dongle working MT7601U

I have recently put Arch on a Pogoplug V4. I got a cheap wifi dongle off of ebay and I can't get it to work. I think I may need to compile the drivers, but I don't know how. Every guide I have found for this dongle suggests many issues with linux systems, but I have two of them and would really like to get them working.

I also tried this with Debian on the same device as there is a firmware-ralink package. I also tried making the driver from scratch in debian. I am at a loss.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
