Pogoplug V2 not working anymore

Hello all.

I have a Pogo V2 that was working fine for quite awhile. I found out about PLEX and thought I would try it out, but seemed to throttle me Pogo due to the indexing of the media.

I removed PLEX and it still had issues, so I rebuilt it.

Unfortunately, after rebuild... I am unable to connect to it via KITTY.
I have rebuilt it numerous times. Each time I can connect to do the Archlinux. But once I reboot after the "successful" change, it refuses connection.

I use a 60GB HDD for my OS drive.

Any thoughts on this?
I use Win7 for connecting/configuring. Should I get a Linux live image?

What does "rebuild" mean? Did you reinstall per the instructions on the front page?

The U-boot may not be up to date. Some of the later rootfs won't boot with the early Uboots. I don't know what the cut over was. Did you follow the complete install instructions or the reinstall instructions? If you follow the complete install instructions it should install the new uboot. If you just reinstall it doesn't.

Are you reformatting the HD when you reinstall?

Well, I decided to rebuild the Pogo with a different USB device (FLASH) and it works again.
Not sure why my 60GB HDD that I had for several years quit responding.

I reformatted the drive and did a disk test and everything is well. Pogo just doesn't like it anymore.

Any thoughts on that? USB enclosure?
I would rather use my HDD vs Flash.
