Pogo V4 - Flashing green, revert fails

I had a working install on a PogoPlug V4. It's been running about two weeks. Today, I rebooted it.

It came back onto the network, but ssh was not found. The light just flashed green. I pulled the power cord several times and each time it came back up and just flashed green.

I didn't have anything worth saving on the USB stick, so I reformatted it to FAT32 and added the 'revert' folder at the root level. I plugged it back in, and powered it up. Now I have a flashing green light and no network.

Any ideas?

Just reinstall alarm.

The Pogo won't even connect to the network.

Even using the 'revert' folder doesn't work. I was hoping the reverted firmware would at least let me SSH back in, so I could start from scratch again.

Is this one bricked?

You don't need the device to reinstall, you just need any device/PC running linux

Reinstalling to the flash drive worked.

But I'm still curious as to why the revert didn't.

Don't know. You would need serial to know for sure. Many had more luck with different flash drives.
