Iptables NSA-325v2 Problem

Postby lorius » Sun Jun 28, 2015 7:41 pm

When i run status of iptables i receive that status:
[root@info ~]# systemctl status iptables
* iptables.service - Packet Filtering Framework
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/iptables.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: active (exited) since Sun 2015-06-28 22:00:16 EEST; 14min ago
Process: 467 ExecReload=/usr/bin/iptables-restore /etc/iptables/iptables.rules (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Process: 455 ExecStart=/usr/bin/iptables-restore /etc/iptables/iptables.rules (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Main PID: 455 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
CGroup: /system.slice/iptables.service

Jun 28 22:00:16 info systemd[1]: Starting Packet Filtering Framework...
Jun 28 22:00:16 info systemd[1]: Started Packet Filtering Framework.
Jun 28 22:00:19 info systemd[1]: Started Packet Filtering Framework.
Jun 28 22:01:06 info systemd[1]: Reloaded Packet Filtering Framework.

When i run command iptables -nvL i receive that message:
[root@info ~]# iptables -nvL
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

I have created file iptables.rules in /etc/iptables/ .
I did reboot my device.

Any ideas ?

Confirm kernel versions:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
pacman -Qi linux-kirkwood
uname -a
')

Check the location of where the iptables load/save ExecPre and ExecPost are saving the rules to. You may want to start the iptables service, load your rules, then stop/start iptables in order to confirm they are being fully save/restored.

Thanks for your replay.
Well I'm not familiar with kernel, but I think that versions are different.
These are results from two commands.

That's why right there.

Make sure that you have /boot mounted, then re-install the kernel package.
