Pogoplug v4 bricked/blinking after trying to flash arch

Postby geopapa » Mon Jan 11, 2016 5:28 pm

Hi ,

I recently bought a Pogoplug v4 and tried to install archlinux arm on it following the instructions. The installation script finished with a "success" message but apparently something went wrong as after i rebooted it only blinked the front and ethernet leds :(
I also couldn't connect via SSH, couldn't restore stock (by creating revert folder in the usb disk) and also the led of the usb flash didn't light on.
So I did some research and found that there is a way to connect via serial. So I purchased the cable and here is my output (it also loops):

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'U-Boot 1.1.4 (Oct 1 2011 - 12:06:06) Cloud Engines 1.1.2 (3.4.27) PHYADDR=0

Could anyone help me ? I would like to find out how to restore the stock first if possible and then reflash arch. Any help would be very welcome but bear in mind that I'm a bit noob :?

Thanks in advance

That output is a new one to me. I _think_ the V4 family supports kwboot, which would let you load a uboot over serial, and then boot that to do as necessary.

Thanks very much for your quick reply!
I understand what you mean but I really don't know how (very new to this).. so would be very pleased if you/anybody gave me more detailed instructions if possible.
Thanks again
