I wanted to move from my 16USB to 500GB HDD ,and I'm guessing i don't need to run the oxnas-install.sh since the flash part to nand is already done and i just need to extract the ArchLinuxARM-oxnas-latest.tar.gz to my first partition[5GB] , with second being swap[512MB] and 3rd being used all data[452 GB], but i guess the booting param would be changed not sure whether i need to run the boot param commands manually[This is a scary part] and also would be required to change /etc/fstab to include the 3rd partition.

Please advise how to proceed further , if someone can extract the specific parts which would be required would be helpful.

As long as the first partition matches the rootfstype (likely ext2/3) then you don't need to worry about changing boot parameters.

There are threads about separate partitions, search for them. This should really be in a separate thread.
