[RESOLVED] crond takes 100% CPU

Postby fuchini » Sat Dec 17, 2011 3:31 pm

Hello,

Yesterday I enabled wifi on my pogo-pro to increase my transfer speed (i had 100 mbps ethernet). On the process I installer net-tools and iw. Today, when I ssh into the pogo and run "top", most of the the crond command takes 100% of the CPU, making the pogo terribly slow. However, I've never scheduled any tasks or anything.

Thanks a lot.

1) thats odd
2) Even at 100Mbps, ethernet is faster, trust me, that prior rt3090sta driver BLOWS.

I think I believe that I read somewhere that the RT3090 is only 65mbit max speed. So, switch back to ethernet.
