Running pogoplug software in archlinux

Postby drummania » Wed Dec 21, 2011 5:48 am

Hi folks,

I have installed archlinux on my pogoplug pro to serve as a apple time capsule using netatalk 2.2. I would also like to keep the original cloud sharing software running to that I can stream music to my phone when I am out, but so far I have no success. I can run the cloud engine server /usr/local/cloudengines/bin/hbplug_init, and see hbwd process running, however, my.pogoplug.com always shows "no drive attached" even though I have a usb drive attached in addition to the archlinux flash drive. I also tried manually mounting the extra usb drive to /tmp/.cemnt/mnt_sdb1, but still the software won't discover the drive.

Has anyone successfully run the cloud engine software on archlinux? I'd like to hear how you set it up so it can discover the attached drives.

Thanks,
dm

I am sorry.

Please re-read the installation notes until you understand.
