Pogoplug Pro, Proper Shutdown

Postby hilikustue » Mon Dec 19, 2011 12:14 pm

Hi there,

I have to move to a new flat and I am wondering how exactly to shut down my Pogoplug Pro properly for this.
I have 2 drives with data attached and a USB Dongle with the rootfs.

I will unmount both drives and deactivate the SWAP Partition.
And then what exactly?

Thank you

`shutdown -h now`

And wait about 2 minutes. It will be fully shutdown before that, but 2 minutes covers you for sure.

.. yes.
Shutdown tells init to do a proper shutdown, which includes unmounting.
