kernel only matters if you haven't already _done_ the kernel.

I'm still trying to sort out a safe way to sort out the methods of fresh kernels for the oxnas's

Ok. So, if I understand correctly, this should have worked.

It didn't. Still not showing up on my router's list of DHCP clients.
