Blinking green/orange after update

Postby Speed383 » Fri Sep 14, 2012 4:13 pm

After I updated my plug on 9/13 it fails to boot now and it is flashing green/orange rapidly. I update daily so it isn't an out of date issue.

Any ideas on what is causing it?

My guess: kmod. See the stick thread at the top.

I tried the following command in ubuntu. I don't know much about Linux but I assume that symlinking it as a mounted media instead of it actually being the root device doesn't work? I still have the same issue as before after trying this.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ln -s /usr/lib/modules /lib/modules')

1. After booting into some kind of linux plug in the USB media that you boot your Pogo from.
2. See, where it's reported as mounted and at a command prompt with root privileges - "sudo su -l" shoudl do - "cd" to that directory
3. Make sure you're in the proper place - "pwd" should tell you.
4. cd to the lib directory at this location and do a "ln -s ../usr/lib/modules ."

The above is the long version of the brief, but clear instructions from the tread WarheadsSE pointed you to. There it reads:

cd /mnt/wherethepogodiskismounted
cd lib
ln -s ../usr/lib/modules .

Thank you for the reply camp.

I realized that I linked the modules within a modules directory by not using the correct syntax. I unlinked the file and deleted the directory. I then used the correct syntax and it is fixed now.

Thanks again.
