$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'Y')ou will need to update your kernel then, on the raspberry pi, so that you have a decent build with devtmpfs support.

I'm a bit of an Arch noob (I'm used to Debian, but trying to move toward Arch for my personal projects). Any advice on how to actually do this?

Arch on the pi already has devtmpfs, if normal upgrade of pacman -Syu fails, -Syuf should do the trick.
/boot/config.txt won't be a problem next build

-Syuf didn't work :(

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[root@alarmpi ~]# pacman -Syuf

Ultimately I still had to replace udev with system-tools. I still was able to get to my original goal of getting vim installed, however.

Just logged into my PogoPlug for the first time in a while and went to do a system update and I get "systemd and udev-oxnas are in conflict (udev). Remove udev-oxnas? [y/N]"

Do I still need to answer N here?

That depends on if you have done the oxnas kernel update as necessary?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'T')hat depends on if you have done the oxnas kernel update as necessary?

After a bit of searching I'm not sure what you mean by oxnas kernel update. I'm guessing that is more involved than just "pacman -S udev-oxnas" or something like that?
(In other words: Can you point me in the right direction so I can check for/perform the update?)

A'm also having the same problem with that total system upgrade.
After saying yes to removing udev-oxnas my system did not recognize any installed commands and after a reboot nothing happends any more.

And why is it with pacman so difficult to even install for example gcc? I get about 10 conflict errors.
I'm used to apt-get and yum which i have never had any trubles with.
