AFAIK the oxnas-led module in archlinuxarm is a modification of the file mentioned above. Could you please share the source code of this modification?

I think I can merge it in the kernel sources and avoid to load it as a module (of course, missing blinking animation )

this is the original (blinking led), not the modification (turns led off)

Correct. We basically made a module that called bootled_off

The main function was seriously 3 lines long. 2 printk's and bootled_off();
